QUASAR HYBRIDS

These all-new hybrid heads by QUASAR GOLF allow for a vast variety of individual fitting through the interchangeable weight screws and two hosel bore options.

The heads with 0.335'' hosel bore (#3618) match standard wood shafts. The smaller tip diameter is more flexible and provides higher launch angles, more backspin and carry, and less roll. The heads with 0.370'' hosel bore (#2618) match standard iron shafts, producing lower launch angles, less backspin and carry, and more roll. A heavier weight screw moves the CG (center of gravity) further downward and backward, also allowing for shorter clubs with acceptable swing weight. The result is a higher trajectory with enhanced control, more backspin and less roll. A lightweight screw moves the CG further up and to the front; a necessary option for longer clubs with acceptable swing weight, low launch, little backspin and a maximum roll.

CMG VARICAV FORGED

The VariCav is a true forged iron head.
Unlike other irons that are pouring into the market and which are merely cast and then form forged, this iron is manufactured in a complex four step forging process from a bar of S25C carbon steel.

For a demanding player no other procedure leads to the results in density, homogeneity and microstructure of the material used in this club head. Moreover this model features a modern variable cavity design: the pure cavity back in irons #2 to #4, a so-called "muscle cavity" in the irons #5 - #7 and a classical blade style with only an optical cavity back in irons #8 and #9 as well as wedges.

The playing characteristics of the VariCav perfectly match the demands of all players at mid and low handicap levels. It features a classic profile, a bevelled tour sole design, a thin top line and a well-balanced blend of loft, lie, offset and bounce. We believe this is one of our hottest innovations ever!

SYNERGYY III

This new iron model is the perfect choice for golfers who do not have that perfect swing. The Synergyy III particularly helps the high to mid handicap golfer as it is designed to counteract some typical swing errors amongst that range of players. The main characteristic is that it provides a better trajectory control due to a shift of the CG (center of gravity). The most recent research by "Tom Wishon Golf Technology" shows clearly that the bending point of a shaft comes more into effect the farther backwards the CG is located. In detail, this shift has been achieved through:

• A wider top line that also supports the correct addressing of the ball.
  
  
• A progressive offset that additionally counters the tendency to open the clubhead's face at the moment of impact.
  
  
• A wider sole. As a side-effect, the slight radiuses (both font-to-back and heel-to-toe) reduce the contact with the turf and thus prevent fat shots.
  
  
• The distinctive Undercut Cavity repositions the mass from the sole to the back in a so called "mass island". This also enlarges the free swinging area of the hitting face which leads to a lower resonance frequency (less vibration) and thus reduces the muscular and joint strain for the player.

The relatively long hosel ensures a good energy transfer between the shaft and head (increasing the distance) and the additional weight chamber in the hosel bore allows the ambitious clubmaker to finely coordinate the total weight and swing weight. All these details as well as the marked perimeter weighting make the Synergyy III an extremely forgiving game improvement iron.

CMG VARICAV SOFT CAST

The name of this iron refers to its most eminent characteristic: the variable cavity back. Although this is not an all new invention, we chose to present it in a very beautiful form. Being so fond of this new design ourselves, we have decided to offer this less expensive version of our VariCav Forged Iron (see page 4).

This iron is cast from a completely new steel alloy (21/8) featuring similar characteristics to the carbon steel S25C that the forged version is made of. The Vari-Cav Soft Cast thus offers excellent playing qualities (soft impact, spin control and forgiveness) and fitting options (loft/lie bending +/- 4°) that come very close to the forged version.

CMG RUSTY SLAVE TOUR WEDGES

Our most recent design represents a unique and all-new concept for wedges: a hitting face forged from carbon steel 1020 is inserted into a body cast from soft steel 304. This combines the best qualities of a forged iron on one hand (soft impact, maximum spin through the rust on the face, bendable for loft and lie by +/- 4°) with the durability and moderate price of a cast steel head on the other hand.

With their increased weight, recessed sole, low bounce angles and small face progression these heads are particularly tailored to the needs of pros and top amateurs. The best of two worlds united here in an exciting new wedge head.
